London Luton Airport is delighted to announce Sue Ryder has won the public vote to be its charity partner for 2014 and 2015.
The campaign to secure the new charity partnership launched in November and has seen over 64,000 votes cast for six remarkable charities, with Sue Ryder securing 37% of the total. The new partnership will follow on from London Luton Airport’s previous successful two year relationship with Sue Ryder in 2012 and 2013.
Sue Ryder has been providing life enhancing care for its patients and their loved ones in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire for the last 40 years. Funds raised from the partnership will go towards supporting Sue Ryder’s valuable care in the community at the charity’s specialist care centres, Stagenhoe and St John’s Hospice.
