Fort-Lauderdales-Water-Shuttle-e1471596603344Fort Lauderdale is all set to launch its brand new water taxi service known as the ‘Water Shuttle’ that encourages children aged 15 years and younger to enjoy rides at the beautiful hot pink vehicles absolutely for free.

The service is scheduled to commence from 30th September, 2016 and would go a long way in entertaining kids during summer.

Karly Young, operations manager, said that being out on the water minimizes the summer heat to a great extent. She added that it would be fun to feel the sea breeze running through the hair as passengers listen to the commentary and imbibe interesting facts about the history of the Fort Lauderdale.

Bright hot pink boats are operated by the Water Shuttle that visit eight different locales while one of them sails along the Fort Lauderdale’s New River as well as Intracoastal Waterway.

The shuttle taxis are available everyday right from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Moreover, the shuttles are equipped with awnings to shield passengers from the harsh sunrays.

She also said that it would be thrilling to spend the entire day with children on the water. Young mentioned that they also offer a free pink lemonade to each and every passenger. She went on to add that they value their passengers and is looking forward to enable them to enjoy in the company of their kids.

However, in order to avail this trip, every child should be always accompanied by an adult. Adults would have to buy a hop-on, hop-off pass for $20 while senior citizens can purchase it just for $18. The military tickets are also worth $18.

The savings pack of August is worth $10 to $20 per child, and is dependent on the age of the child. Tickets for kids below the age of 12 are worth 410 and those for children aged 13 and above are $20.

The tickets can easily be purchased online. However, one might also choose to buy it aboard the Water Shuttle. Additionally, travellers can procure the tickets at the kiosk of Water Shuttle and Riverfront Cruise. If passengers buy tickets online, they need to show them onboard the water taxi.

For over 25 years, Marine Hospitality has been conducting official tours on commercial boats in the area of Fort Lauderdale.

Apart from the Water Shuttle, Marine Hospitality also owns a series of five luxury yachts and also Riverfront Cruises.
