Switzerland gears up for FESPO, the biggest holiday fair

GNTBFESPO, the largest holiday and travel fair in Switzerland takes place from January 30 till February 4, 2014 in Zurich. It is an international event especially for those who love sports and various other activities like diving, rafting and lots of adventurous activities.

This year the host country is Germany. The German National Tourist Board (GNTB) joins hands with the organizer of the largest Swiss trade fair for holidays and travel.

“We are very pleased with the commitment of the German National Tourist Board,” says Exhibition Director Stephan Amstad. “Germany is not only a very popular and beautiful travel destination with many undiscovered treasures, but also an excellent partner when it comes to the marketing.”

Germany has a number of great cultural attractions and natural areas. A total of 37 of the most impressive monuments, urban ensembles, and significant natural landscapes are there in Germany.

Adventure and travel lovers can satisfy their thirst for adventure and get a whiff of holiday air here. More than 70,000 visitors flock to FESPO every year.

Countries from all continents, plus the entire spectrum of tour operators, are represented at the Zurich Exhibition Centre on fair weekend.

Visitors can expect a wide range of exhibitors, properly suited to their interests and needs. This fair caters to general public, travel agencies, tour operators,tourist offices, carriers, sports associations, manufacturers, sports schools, publishers, hotels, wellness companies.

The main sectors of the exhibitors profile will be travel sectors, tour operators, sports federations, tourist information offices, resorts, diving equipments, diving schools, diving destinations, airlines, hotels, travelling and holidays.
