On 14/02-16/02/14, in Stockholm Sweden at the exhibition Greece PANORAMA, organized by North Events, the 5th consecutive Sympossio Greek Gourmet Touring begins its journey to West and East Europe

«As an outcome of the painful processes set in motion by the crisis, the production of exceptional quality has seen a rebirth, and Greece is making its own distinct contribution to world cuisine. It is seeing its products travel once again across the length and breadth of the world, and their rich variety is an object of admiration demonstrated in the creations of Greek and foreign chef.
This sweeping change, which is occurring, is not confined to economic activities and social behaviours but also extends to culinary habits. The Greeks gather together to deliberate and unwind around the small tables of the ‘’ouzeri’’, to share: the time, the food, the joy and zest for life. The crisis evokes the need to celebrate life. Not each of us alone. Not with our eyes looking down at our own plates. Its theme is ouzo and the ‘’ouzeri’’ (small tavernas serving ouzo and ‘’meze’’ appetizers), friends and sharing; the moment when time stands still and waits for us to taste the delicious appetizers made from the finest raw ingredients, in the company of friends».
