Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) Corporate Public Relations office provided clarification on flight TG130 which departed on 5 November 2013 from Bangkok to Chiang Rai, Thailand.
THAI flight TG130 from Bangkok to Chiang Rai early this morning found tire number 4 blown after landing inspection at the apron of the terminal. The cause of the blown tire is under investigation. The flight operated with the Airbus A300-600 was carrying 197 passengers and 10 crew members, departed Suvarnabhumi Airport at 0800 hours and arrived at Chiang Rai Airport at 0918 hours with no passengers receiving injury.
THAI’s Technical Department replaced the blown tire and the returning flight TG131 resumed operations with a 55 minute-delay departing Chiang Rai at 1100 hours, ETA at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport at 1215 hours.
