Gilbert Baeriswil, General Manager at Castle Hotel & Spa has announced that Forbes Travel Guide has presented both the historic landmark property and THANN Sanctuary Spa with its coveted Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award for 2015.
Since 1958, when Forbes Travel Guide was founded as Mobil Travel Guide, a team of professional incognito inspectors and editors has traveled the globe in search of the world’s best hotels, restaurants and spas.
That team visits each hotel, restaurant and spa that they rate and recommend, anonymously testing every aspect of a property’s experience to determine a rating that can be relied on when planning travel.
According to the Forbes Travel Guide, “recipients of the Four-Star Award provide a distinctive setting, and offer interesting and inviting elements to enjoy. Attention to detail is prominent throughout the property, from design concept to quality provided.
Staff is accommodating and takes pride in catering to specific guest needs throughout a guests stay.”
Forbes Travel Guide announces its Global Star Ratings yearly, evaluating more than 500 objective criteria to determine Star rating.
Among the highest scores received by Castle Hotel & Spa were in public areas, dining, staff appearance, and F&B quality, having achieved perfect and near-perfect scores in each category.
Baeriswil noted that “the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award signifies that Castle Hotel & Spa is “an outstanding establishment, offering guests a truly exceptional level of luxury and service and we are thrilled with this recognition of how we strive for guest satisfaction at every level.
”
THANN Sanctuary Spa also received the Four-Star Award with perfect score evaluations for the “polite and gracious staff”, ambiance, and treatment services.
The Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award signifies that THANN Sanctuary Spa is “an outstanding establishment, offering guests a truly exceptional level of luxury and service.”
The 8,700 square-foot spa, which opened in November 2013, also received high score evaluations for the “contemporary design elements and subtle Asian influence”
