This spring, awaken the senses and increase circulation with a body scrub of freshly ground organic arabica coffee from the central region of Costa Rica. In the summer months, the Javanese Royal Lulur relaxes with a full-body massage and ingredients such as sandalwood and ginger root blends. Parisian inspiration in the fall brings a signature Four Seasons experience inspired by Marie Antoinette and her favourite scent. Warm up during the winter months with a treatment focused on restoring the body’s natural biorhythm and deeply relaxing the nervous system.

Spring – Organic Costa Rican Coffee Scrub from Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo – This coffee lover’s dream come true features a scrub of freshly ground organic arabica coffee from the central region of Costa Rica, combined with rich natural oils. The body treatment helps to increase circulation and reduce the appearance of cellulite. Rich moisturizer is applied as a finishing touch.
Summer – Javanese Lulur Ritual fromFour Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa – Adapted from a traditional Asian bridal ritual, the Javanese Royal Lulur begins with a relaxing full-body massage and nourishing scrub with turmeric, sandalwood, rice powder, and ginger root blends. A luscious lime and honey mask is then applied to nurture the skin, before an indulgent tropical flower bath and application of lotion.
Fall – A Stroll to Versailles from Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris – As the Queen of France, Marie Antoinette was the most admired and elegantly adorned woman in court. Inspired by Marie’s beauty treatments at Versailles, this signature Four Seasons experience is infused with her favourite scent: orange blossom. Enjoy a streamed orange blossom body scrub, followed by a relaxing massage with warm shea butter. Conclude with an unforgettable milky facial and macarons.
Winter – Biorhythm: Restoring Waters from Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay – The natural flow of the body’s biorhythm is closely linked to the body’s magnetic energy field. This treatment restores the body’s natural biorhythm and deeply relaxes the nervous system. Both the energy scrub and mud wrap contain high levels of minerals in ion form, which, as they become warm, emit large amounts of negative ions, charging and restoring the bio-magnetic energy field. Next, a kundalini crystal healing back massage helps to balance and relax the nervous system. The treatment finishes with an ayurvedic marma massage for the face.
The Spa at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado is infused with the essence of its magical location. Tucked away among the rolling hills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains under the bright skies of Santa Fe, the Spa provides a respite from the bustling city. The natural environment of the Resort’s setting is inherent throughout the Spa design and treatment experience. Fresh and local indigenous ingredients such as blue corn, honey and adobe clay are used to heal the skin and body exposed to Santa Fe’s high desert. The 10,000-square-foot (929 square metre) Spa features 15 treatment rooms, including two couples’ suites in freestanding clusters that radiate from the central reception area.
Prior to treatments, guests are encouraged to luxuriate by the warmth of a traditional fireplace in a freestanding living room encased by glass walls overlooking the serene meditation garden. There, guests enjoy locally dried fruits and a tea selection for replenishment. Guests then embark on a rejuvenating journey as they follow meandering paths to their treatment rooms. Each treatment room opens onto a private courtyard with an outdoor garden and shower.
