Jumeirah-Group-Pera-Palace-Hotel-Kubbeli-Saloon-hero-300x142 (2)Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah, the historic hotel which first opened its doors in 1892, has successfully completed a refurbishment of the lobby, Kubbeli Saloon tea lounge and library. The work was carried out by Anouska Hempel, an internationally respected interior designer.

Set in the heart of the city, the hotel regularly turns heads with its Bell Époque style and has become an indispensable venue of Istanbul social life. A number of refurbishments have been carried out over recent years but the hotel stays true to its historical roots. Following the recent enhancements, the lobby that welcomes guests to Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah is now designed with more light, wider spaces and improved seating areas so guests can leave the bustling city behind.

Anouska Hempel, the ‘Queen of Decoration,’ also re-vamped the Patisserie de Pera last year which has become one of the most favoured stops in town for tea and cakes.

The Kubbeli Saloon, the venue for traditional afternoon tea, and the library have both been renovated in keeping with the dynamism and energy of the city. The dining table concept in the library meets the multiple needs of guests, whether they want to work, read or simply sit back and enjoy refreshments.

With colour schemes featuring wine red, black, glittering reflections and gold leaves, reminiscent the early 20th century, Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah brings together the soul of the previous century and the today’s modernity.
