Employees with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and airports across the country will observe a moment of silence on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at 9:20 a.m., PST – the same time of last Friday’s incident at Los Angeles International Airport – to honor fallen TSA Officer Gerardo Hernandez and his family. TSA checkpoint operations will very briefly pause to observe this moment of silence.

Separately, a public memorial service for Officer Gerardo Hernandez will be held Nov. 12, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., PST at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena. More details will be released when they are available.
