Travel Oregon recently selected Lieb Management in Germany as its agency of record for Travel Oregon’s marketing and PR efforts in the German-speaking markets. Lieb Management, located in Munich, specializes in travel trade sales, media relations and consumer marketing in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
“Oregon offers an impressive array of outdoor recreation opportunities and wide-open spaces that appeal to the German-speaking traveler,” said Teresa O’Neill, Vice President of Global Sales at Travel Oregon.
“We are confident that Lieb Management will increase the awareness of, and visitation to, the state of Oregon.”
Travel Oregon has had a presence in this lucrative international market for 17 years. Because of this effort abroad, Germany is one of the top-5 international markets for tourism in Oregon.
“We hold ourselves as experts to represent national and international destinations, hotels, resorts and attractions in the industry,” said Ralf Lieb, Managing Director of Lieb Management. “Together with Travel Oregon we will build exciting opportunities to bring Oregon to the forefront of the German-speaking consumer with classic methods, as well as new concepts.”
Sabrina Hasenbein will lead the PR efforts with Susanne Schmitt serving as the Account Manager for Travel Oregon at Lieb. Schmitt has a vast knowledge of the state from work assignments throughout her career.
