CITIZENS WHO MIGHT BE IN UKRAINE, FOR THEM THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT ISSUED TRAVEL WARNING; THERE IS HIGH POSSIBILITY OF VIOLENT PROTESTS IN THE COUNTY, THEY SHOULD TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS.
Protests flared up last weekend when Ukrainian legislators voted to shelve efforts to sign association and free trade agreements with the European Union.
The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office [1] said, “Protests and demonstrations are occurring in Kiev and many other cities, some of these have resulted in scuffles between demonstrators and the police.”
