UK Met Office has issued a warning stating that temperatures are expected to dip causing icy, frozen surfaces. The department has also warned some communities in England and Scotland to expect further flooding.
Till now 14 flood warnings have been issued mostly for south-west England and tourists are being urged to stay in their hotel rooms till the warnings are lifted.
Travel disruptions are expected across UK. Flood warnings are in place for the Midlands, North East, South East and South West. There were also 149 flood alerts – indicating flooding is possible – across every region of England.
Only certain coastal regions have been exempted of warnings.
