VisitEnglandWith UK flood disaster, the government is helping tourism related firms with £2m in the flood affected parts of England.  Experts will visit the affected sites and offer tips on coping with the situation. The idea is to get the tourism business “back on their feet “said Culture Secretary Maria Miller.

Tourism body Visit England will host the advice sessions, which will take place throughout March. This funding comes in addition to the £10m pledged by Prime Minister David Cameron. The government is doing everything to get the tourism industry back in track and do away with all the damages caused by the severe floods.

Experts will do everything to put the small businesses back in tourism. With Easter drawing near  it is time to get the business moving and attract people to the flood hit areas. Experts will cover sessions that will deal with subjects including communicating with customers online as well as advice on marketing and how to access business support measures.

Visit England will continue to give out the message that business is as usual said chief executive James Berresford. Despite bad weather causing disruption in travel plans, the government claims that the tourism infrastructure is largely unaffected and the message is being sent out loud that this is the best time to visit England.
