The civil unrest in Ukraine has hit rock bottom. Hundreds of pro-Russian activists recaptured a government administration building in Donetsk in Ukraine further deepening the crisis.
According to reports, activists broke through police barricades and invaded the building. Some of them even waved the Russian flag from the building.
The recent spate of events in Ukraine has prompted EU leaders to declare an emergency summit to discuss how strongly they would respond to Russia’s troop deployment in Ukraine. Some members are of the opinion for tough sanctions, but others including Germany stress mediation as a solution.
Currently, Russian forces are in absolute control of Crimea.
