Ukraine International entered the Central Europe Top 500 ranking compiled by Deloitte – one of the world`s leading professional services firms, providing audit, consulting, financial advisory, risk management, tax and legal services.
The Central Europe Top 500 ranking is compiled based on consolidated company revenues for the fiscal year ending 2013.
The ranking is based on revenues reported by a particular legal entity operating in Central Europe.
The ranking groups companies by industry and country. 52 Ukrainian companies entered the ranking. 26 of them, UIA as well, represent Consumer Goods and Transportation sector of Ukraine.
Notably, UIA became one of the two carriers listed in the Deloitte Central Europe Top 500 ranking.
“In 2013 UIA demonstrated top tier performance. Last year we carried over 4.6 million passengers, doubled our fleet, expanded our route network by a hundred percent, launched long-haul flights and offered our passengers new web opportunities, – noted Evgeniya Satska, UIA Corporate Press Secretary. – In 2014 both Ukraine and its national carrier had to face unprecedented challenges.
That`s why we are very proud of the fact UIA entered the Deloitte Top 500 for the first time ever.
