Union Pacific Railroad was recognized as a top service provider by Hyundai GLOVIS, a logistics supplier for Hyundai Motor America and Kia Motors America. The company’s “Club Elite” award recognizes continuous excellence and dedication to providing superior transportation service for finished vehicles.
“Union Pacific is honored to be recognized as an elite service provider,” said Linda Brandl, Union Pacific’s vice president-Automotive. “Our team is focused on safety, service and efficiency, proactively evaluating customer needs to ensure Union Pacific delivers on the performance factors it promises.”
GLOVIS based its selection on defined metrics in transit performance, damage prevention and customer service.
Union Pacific’s Automotive team provides transportation and logistics solutions for shipping automotive parts, finished vehicles and aftermarket vehicles. The railroad directly serves five vehicle assembly plants, distributes imported vehicles from the West Coast and Gulf of Mexico and operates or accesses more than 40 vehicle distribution centers for all major automotive manufacturers.
