emergency-landing-300x225A United Airlines flight flying from Denver, Colorado, to Billings, Montana, encountered severe turbulence and three crew members and a number of passengers were injured as the captain made an emergency landing of the United Flight 1676.

The pilot declared a medical emergency after a flight attendant was injured by turbulence.

There were 114 passengers and five crew members onboard.

The plane landed in Billings without incident.

The primary focus was in assisting the employees and passengers who were injured said a spokesperson.

The flight safety team will review what will happen.

The passengers and the crew didn’t quite realize what was happening and began to scream. The crew was also in a state of panic.

A United Airlines flight last month, returned to Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey after turbulence injured five flight attendants.

The plane hit “severe turbulence” about 45 minutes into the Beijing-bound United Flight 89.

The Transatlantic flights are generally a bit bumpy said a spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
