As of 7 February 2014, Air France passengers will be able to use their personal electronic devices on board at any time during the flight.
The European Aviation Safety Agency now permits the use of portable electronic devices (PED) in “flight mode” during all phases of the flight*.
Air France passengers will benefit from this new regulation and will be able to use their personal devices while the aircraft is taxiing, during takeoff, while cruising and on landing.
With this new service, Air France customers can continue to work or play when they get on the plane until they arrive at destination, in total freedom.
Air France does all it can on a daily basis to offer its passengers more autonomy.
* The use of equipment and accessories operating with Bluetooth and WIFI is not permitted however, and the PED should be turned off if operating conditions require.
