Venetian MacaoThe Venetian Macao is the Best Hotel in Macau in DestinAsian magazine’s 10th Readers’ Choice Awards. The annual awards, which ask travellers to recognise hospitality and luxury performed at their best, were presented in Hong Kong March 11.

The results for 2015 were generated by a poll conducted between August and October 2014.  Nearly 4,000 readers voted for their favourite brands in 35 categories, including hotels and resorts, serviced residences, spas, airlines, airports and destinations. The Venetian Macao was also voted Best Hotel in Macau in the 2014 Readers’ Choice Awards – the first year Macao was added as a destination.

“It’s a great honour to be recognised as the best hotel in Macao by the readers of DestinAsian magazine for two years in a row,” said Ciarán Carruthers, Senior Vice President and Director of Venetian and Plaza Operations, Sands China Ltd. “The Readers’ Choice Awards are particularly important in the hospitality industry as they are a direct result of customers’ experiences. We will continue to strive to exceed our guests’ expectations at every level and to deliver unforgettable experiences for all our visitors.”

The destinations featured in the awards are some of Asia’s most well-known tourism hotspots, such as Bangkok, Seoul, Singapore and Hong Kong. Macao’s inclusion alongside such heavyweights is proof of its rising popularity and prominence in the Asia-Pacific region.

With 3,000 suites, The Venetian Macao features stunning replicas of the famous canals and architectural icons of Venice, Italy. Throughout the integrated resort, guests can enjoy world-class entertainment shows at the Cotai Arena and The Venetian Theatre, dine at more than 30 restaurants including the Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Golden Peacock, relax at TAIVEXMALO Day Hospital & Spa and explore more than 300 retailers at Shoppes at Venetian. Families can also enjoy gondola rides, signature Streetmosphere entertainment, Qube Kid’s Play Zone, swimming pools and the Grado miniature golf course.

As the leading integrated hotel resort in Macao, The Venetian Macao has long been dedicated to exceeding the expectations of customers and diversifying Macao by offering the best entertainment. The ultra-high standard of service and effort put into providing unbeatable holiday experiences continues to attract tourists from around the world to Macao, helping raise Macao’s profile as a world centre of tourism and leisure.
