UNPDVenezuela and the United Nations Program for Development (UNPD) agreed to sign an agreement that will permit collaboration to foster eco-tourist projects in Venezuela.

A press note from the Venezuelan Tourism Minister, UNPD representative Niky Fabiancic and Venezuelan Tourism Minister Andres Izarra had a meeting to formulate more than 25 projects in the South American country, starting from the UNPD experiences.

“This is a first approach that will permit to explore different chances in which UNPD may cooperate with the Venezuelan Tourism Ministry, to promote this activity. UNPD can bring experience, we are present in the Caribbean and Latin America, and I think the experiences from other countries can enrich us,” Fabiancic said.

This South American nation has geography, nature and an incredible human capital that can be very important for the enjoyment of the natives and foreigners who want to visit the country, he added.

Another one of the debated topics was the incorporation of other projects, especially those dedicated to the inclusion of communities, women and young people in these initiatives.
