Tourism and Culture Ministry said that, The Visit Malaysia Year (VMY) 2014 campaign would increase by 5.6 per cent or 475,000 tourists from the United Kingdom vis-a-vis 450,000 British tourists end of this year. Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz will inaugurate Malaysia’s Pavilion at the event and oversee the launch of the double-decker buses to mark the campaign, which is part of the “Come Get the Malaysian experience” campaign.
“The buses will play London’s key routes until the end of the month,” said Mohamed Nazri.
The four-day trade event in London is expected to increase arrivals from the United Kingdom, providing a platform for buyers and sellers to interact with each other and encourage better cooperation and formation of more tourism products and tour packages, particularly for VMY 2014.
