Volaris Adds Nonstop Service from Denver to Monterrey, Mexico

denverBeginning Dec. 1, Volaris will offer year-round nonstop service from Denver International Airport (DEN) to Monterrey, Mexico.

 

 
This international service will operate year-round with service twice per week, on uesdays and Thursdays. The flight will operate using an Airbus A320 with 179 seats. The flight is scheduled to depart Monterrey at 10:07 a.m., arriving in DEN at 12:15 p.m. The flight will depart from DEN at 1:30 p.m., arriving in Monterrey at 5:25 p.m. (local times).
Monterrey is the third-largest city in Mexico with nearly 4.4 million residents, and is the industrial and economic powerhouse of northern Mexico. More than 11,000 passengers traveled in 2015 between Denver and Monterrey, representing market growth of 65 percent over 2014.
“Volaris has been growing at Denver International Airport since launching its first flight from DEN to Mexico City in 2012,” airport CEO Kim Day said. “In 2014, Volaris added nonstop flights to Guadalajara and Chihuahua, and today we are excited to see Volaris continue to expand in Denver by offering this new year round service to Monterrey.”
