cq5dam.web_.press_.722.keepaspectratio-14-300x169On the heels of its half-million-dollar kitchen renovation, Wit & Wisdom, a Tavern by Michael Mina at Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, announces a new daily Oyster Happy Hour and off-menu dessert tasting exclusively at its chef’s table, dubbed “The Kitchen Table,” situated at the helm of the open-kitchen action. Single diners and large groups alike are welcome to experience the counter-style table during lunch or dinner, and can also order from the tavern’s al la carte menus or work with the chefs to create a highly personalised tasting.

The dessert tasting, led and creatively conceived by Executive Pastry Chef Dyan Ng, includes four full courses, with small dessert snacks between each course, and is available for USD 30 every week, Tuesday through Saturday. Keeping in theme with Chef Dyan’s ever-evolving dessert list and dedication to highlighting both seasonal and savoury flavours, the dessert tasting will include items on the current dessert list as well as rotating experimental items. The dessert tasting can be ordered after a meal or on its own, while wine or creative cocktail pairings from the restaurant’s award-winning beverage team are available upon request.
“Our innovative dessert tasting is meant to be thought of as the ‘new nightcap,’” says Chef Ng. “There are few places in Baltimore where guests can have reason to visit a restaurant for just dessert, and now they can experience the ultimate indulgence in the form of dessert and drink among the city’s best harbor side views.”
Guests looking to begin dinner with an elevated happy hour, or simply indulge in Wit & Wisdom’s Chesapeake-region oyster offerings, can now enjoy an Oyster Happy Hour exclusively at The Kitchen Table daily from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. For the hour, guests are treated to the classic combination of oysters and sparkling wine for one dollar a half-shell and five dollars a glass, respectively.
The Kitchen Table can be fully reserved for groups with up to twelve guests through Four Seasons Private Dining and Sales Manager Shannon Toback to create a highly customised and interactive experience ideal for unique business dinners and social events. Traditional boundaries of group dining are sure to be broken when experiencing the Kitchen Table privately as Wit & Wisdom’s creative culinary team will work off-menu to create anything from a seasonal white truffle dinner to a wild game dinner during gaming season.
