Colt Mackenzie McNair (CMM), the specialist executive recruitment firm working exclusively in the global golf industry, has successfully partnered with world-renowned Ballybunion Golf Club in Ireland to find its new Course Manager.
The successful candidate – experienced agronomist and green-keeping expert John Bambury – will oversee Ballybunion Golf Club’s two world-class 18-hole links layouts, the Robert Trent Jones-designed Cashen Course and the critically-acclaimed Old Course, currently rated 27th in Golf Digest’s World Top 100 rankings list.
John will be moving from his current Course Manager position at Trump International Golf Links properties in Scotland and Ireland. He has also previously worked at other Irish properties including Farnham Estate Golf & Spa Resort, Co. Cavan, and Carton House, Co. Kildare.
Commenting on his new role, John Bambury, said: “Ballybunion Golf Club is recognised the world over as a must-visit experience and I’m looking forward to overseeing both courses and enhancing the already exceptional Old and Cashen layouts.
