The event will bring authentic Italian flavours to the lounge with delicious arancini balls, Italian wine and Campari on offer.
Qantas’ pop up lounge experiences, which began in September, give Qantas Club members the opportunity to try signature creations from a cross section of the country’s best chefs (handpicked by Neil Perry) among other exciting activities.
Qantas Domestic Executive Manager Customer Experience Samantha Taranto said Qantas Club’s pop-up experiences would be rolled in lounges out across the country.
“Our first pop-up event was a huge success,” Ms Taranto said.
“Qantas Club members made it very clear more pop-up experiences would be warmly welcomed in the lounge.
“We are delighted to be working with our own Qantas Consulting Chef for the next event. We know that he has created something truly special for our customers visiting the Melbourne Qantas Club.
“These events are great way to give our Qantas Club members a quality and unique travel experience.”
Qantas Consulting Chef, Neil Perry said he hopes Qantas passengers visiting the lounge will enjoy a taste of Rosetta Ristorante as part of their journey.
“Rosetta Ristorante takes inspiration from my travels across Italy and aims to produce an elegant combination of regional recipes and the freshest seasonal produce,” Mr Perry said.
“I look forward to bringing a little bit of this inspiration to the Melbourne Qantas Club.”
Qantas will be working closely with their food and wine community, Qantas epiQure, to ensure the dish is perfectly matched with an Italian wine. Qantas has also partnered with Campari to provide beverages on the day.
The Qantas Club Melbourne pop-up experience will occur on December 5 between 3:00pm and 6:00pm.
Rosetta Ristorante is Neil Perry’s first Italian restaurant, situated in Southbank, Melbourne.
