Air-Greenland-planeThe GL781 transatlantic aircraft flew as planned from Copenhagen to Kangerlussuaq this morning. Traffic to Sisimiut and North Greenland is expected to be carried out almost as planned.

The return flight from Greenland to Denmark is scheduled for departure from Kangerlussuaq at 20:40 local time with an expected arrival in Copenhagen early in the morning on Saturday Danish time.

All flights to and from Nuuk are either canceled or postponed until after 16 o’clock today Friday. By then it might be possible to start flying again in and out of Nuuk. Air services between Paamiut and Nuuk and southern Greenland and Nuuk are completely canceled today and will be flown tomorrow Saturday.

A morning flight between northern Greenland and Kangerlussuaq remains, the rest are scheduled for later. The affected passengers are contacted by Air Greenland. We will also update our website regularly.
