The event organizer Messe of Berlin has announced Malaysia as the Convention and Culture Partner of ITB Berlin 2014 to be held from March 5 to 7, 2014. At the event Malaysia will promote its global campaign, ‘Visit Malaysia Year 2014’ accentuating its culture and pointing up its aspects as a nature and beach holiday resort, apace with its traditional image as a commercial destination for meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions.
Maizan Ahmad, director, Tourism Malaysia – Germany, remarking on her country’s participation in ITB Berlin, said: “2014 will be an important year for us. ‘Visit Malaysia Year 2014’ will seek to enthrall visitors with numerous activities and events such as the Malaysia International Shoe Festival 2014, featuring creations by the famous designer Jimmy Choo, and the 1Malaysia International Tourism Night Floral Parade 2014”.
Malaysia as an active partner for convention and culture of Berlin International Tourism Bourse (ITB); the world’s largest tourism convention, is inviting guests to excavate its cultural diversity, its numerous attractions, natural treasures, attractive eco-tours and adventure trips world at the Culture Hall 7.1 and the dance programs which are insight into the multi-cultural society of this Southeast Asia country on the main stage in Hall 4.1, between March 5 and 9.
Visitors will also be encouraged to visit Hall 4.1 where dance performances will provide an insight into Malaysia’s multicultural and social delights.
