Luanda air terminal in Angola announced the installation of radar system from the second half of 2015 to cover its entire area.
This information was released Friday in Luanda by the administrator of “4 de Fevereiro” International Airport, Diogenes Manuel da Silva.
He was speaking at a press conference, ahead of the celebrations of 34th anniversary of National Exploration Company for Airports and Air Navigation (ENANA), to be marked on the 13 February.
He spoke of existence of some constraints related to financial lines which, according to him, delayed the process but at this time the matter has been settled.
He also said that the company expects this year to make progress for implementation of the action.
Under revamping process started since 2009, Enana has already rehabilitated the airports of Cabinda, Soyo, Luanda domestic terminal, Ndalatando, Malanje, Benguela, Catumbela, Lubango, Ondjiva, Saurimo, Cuito Cuanavale, Dundo and Kuito ( Bié).
