Indian carrier IndiGo made an emergency landing in Kuala Lumpur after chemical substances were detected in the cargo bay, according to reports. There were 145 passengers on board. No injuries were reported.
A team of officers from KLIA’s Rescue department were dispatched to the scene after the pilot suspected a chemical leakage in the aircraft’s storage compartment.
It is yet to be known whether there was actually a leakage or not.
The Madras-bound flight landed safely at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
