PETALING JAYA: The invigorated Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya has officially re-launched, following a RM30 million renovations and refurbishment to its 18 storey building.
The international standard business class hotel, unveiled its transformation, themed ‘Experience A Whole New Eastin’ at its re-launch cocktail event in the grand ballroom, here.
This highly anticipated event was attended by more than 450 guests from corporate and government sectors, celebrities, the media and the hotel’s Executive Chairman of CP Group Dato’ Tan Chew Piau and Executive Director Datin Jane Yeo.
Eastin’s very own quick-response code (QR) was also launched to encourage guests to use the mobile apps to browse through the hotel’s latest room and food and beverage promotions including other improved convenient features. Guests were seen flashing their smart phones as models walked around with Eastin’s QR barcode, to encourage guests to download the application and win mystery gifts.
A panoramic video tour of the hotel’s transformation was also screened, boasting the
extensive renovations done to its five food and beverage outlets, 388 contemporary
rooms, stylish lobby, well-designed banquet and meeting rooms.
In addition, a completely new Eastin website was created in line with the hotel’s new image which reflects a revitalized ambience, service, hospitality that caters to the convenience of guests.
Signature dishes from the hotel’s food and beverage outlets namely, Eyuzu Japanese Cuisine, Ee Chinese Cuisine, Swez Brasserie, the Divan and Lounge, were also served at the re-launch event which was hosted by celebrity Joey G.

A home grown brand, Eastin Hotel PJ, was completed in 1997 is built owned and managed by CP Group. Since the hotel opened its doors to guests in June 1998, it has made a name for itself in the region as an excellent business class hotel. It is the flagship of the Eastin Hotel Group and in 2011 underwent an extensive renovation of all its distinguished facilities.
