Gogo, a leading global aero communications service provider is teaming up with lifestyle technology expert Carley Knobloch to share some of the newest advancements in technology to help passengers stay connected for the summer travel season.
One of the biggest advancements is Wi-Fi access on international flights. Passengers no longer need to fight the urge to stay connected en route to their international destinations.
Gogo is expected to have between 50 and 100 Ku satellite equipped aircraft by the end of the year allowing passengers on certain international flights to connect as they travel the world.
“Offering connectivity on international flights is a huge advancement for travelers,” said lifestyle technology expert, Carley Knobloch.
“Now, whether traveling for leisure or business, you can take advantage of the extended period of time available during the long-haul flights to stay productive and entertained.”
Passengers that are taking trips within the United States can also expect higher speeds with the roll out of Gogo’s ATG-4 solution. ATG-4 is now installed on more than 500 commercial aircraft and delivers roughly three times the speeds of Gogo’s original ATG service in-flight.
