Gulf-Air-Sponsors-Weekly-Iftars-in-MuscatThroughout the holy month of Ramadan, Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, sponsored weekly iftars at the Grand Hyatt Muscat, offering guests the opportunity to win complimentary tickets to travel on the airline’s newly retrofitted A330 aircraft.

Promoting the airline’s upgraded product offering, Gulf Air’s retrofitted A330 aircraft, Gulf Air’s Oman Country Manager Mr. Ahmed Ramadhan shared information on the enhanced product in addition to awarding the raffle’s weekly winners: “We are delighted to partner with the Grand Hyatt Muscat and offer customers the chance to learn more about our newly retrofitted A330 aircraft and have the opportunity to win tickets to experience it.

Gulf Air continues to enhance and develop its products and services to cater to passengers’ changing demands and preferences. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the winners, and look forward to welcoming them onboard.”

Last month Gulf Air received its first retrofitted A330 aircraft. The plane is newly configured for a total of 214 seats in a two-class configuration of 30 Falcon Gold Class and 184 Economy seats with significant enhancements across both cabins. The revamped A330 product introduces fully-flat bed seats in the airline’s Falcon Gold Class, upgraded seats in Economy Class and a state-of-the-art in-flight-entertainment system throughout, and was designed specifically for Gulf Air, integrating features based on passenger feedback.

Gulf Air’s annual Ramadan initiatives in Oman have served to further strengthen the airline’s ties with key media and industry stakeholders, reinforcing the longstanding relationship between Bahrain’s national carrier and the Sultanate of Oman and its importance as a key destination for the airline.

Gulf Air has had a strong presence in the Sultanate of Oman since Bahrain’s national carrier was first established in 1950. Currently, Gulf Air operates 21 weekly flights between Muscat and Bahrain. As one of the Middle East’s largest network carriers, Gulf Air is well-positioned to connect Muscat to several key destinations in the Middle East, Asia and Europe with excellent connectivity via its efficient hub Bahrain.
