White Christmas at Four Seasons Hotel Prague

WHITE-CHRISTMAS-ATChristmas in Prague is a magical season: the Christmas markets are open, decorated trees adorn the town squares and the aromas of mulled wine, cookies and roasted chestnuts fill the streets.

From delicious Christmas lunches and dinners to a remarkable New Year’s Eve party, Four Seasons Hotel Prague has created a full menu of seasonal delights for Hotel guests this year.

In addition to all festivities, Four Seasons Hotel Prague invites Hotel and CottoCrudo guests to purchase a Wish Crystal card and contribute to the Hotel’s donation to Tereza Maxova Foundation helping orphaned children in the Czech Republic. Each card will be displayed on a special Christmas tree in the Hotel Lobby.

Festive Lunch and Dinner Menus
December 1–23, 2014
CottoCrudo restaurant chefs have created three different festive lunch and dinner menus available for individual guests and groups.

 

Each menu includes a tasty selection of traditional Italian festive delicacies. The menus priced from CZK 1,150.00 to CZK 2,100.00, and can be paired with wine.

Festive Afternoons with Czech and Italian Christmas Delights and Live Piano Concerts
Every day from November 29, 2014 to January 10, 2015
Four Seasons guests are welcome to enjoy the best of Czech Christmas cookies and traditional Italian festive sweets at CottoCrudo bar every day from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
In addition to the festive afternoons at CottoCrudo, a live piano performance will take place at the back lobby seating area each Thursday, Friday and Saturday (excluding December 25). During a live performance by a pianist at the back lobby seating area, a traditional selection of teas and coffees, hot chocolate, mulled wine, apple cider, and traditional Czech Christmas cookies and Italian festive sweets will be served.

Children’s Choir and Christmas Eve
December 24, 2014
Four Seasons guests can start celebrating Christmas Eve early at 3:00 pm with roasted chestnuts and Gianduja hot chocolate in the Hotel lobby. For the evening, CottoCrudo kitchen has created a succulent four course menu priced at CZK 1,950.00 featuring pan fried duck foie gras with figs carpaccio and homemade pain brioché; cream of topinambour (jerusalem artichoke) soup with duck ragoût, black truffles and poppy seed oil; pan fried wild sea bass fillet with violet artichokes, San Marzano tomatoes, Sicilian lemon emulsion and Pantelleria capers; or traditional fried carp from Třebon in Southern Bohemia with potato salad and pickled vegetables; noto almond parfait with wild honey caramel, pear compote and bourbon vanilla; and coffee and Christmas cookies. Kids under 6 years old dine free of charge; 7–12 years old at 50 percent off the price.

Christmas Day and Boxing Day Lunch and Dinner
December 25–26, 2014
The Christmas Day lunch and dinner four course degustation menu includes tuna tartar and octopus salad with citrus caviar, cucumber and saffron dressing with coriander; potato and leek soup with caramelized shallot and morels ragout; a main course of roasted turkey with stuffing, caramelized chestnuts, winter vegetable casserole and cranberry sauce; or traditional fried carp from Třebon in Southern Bohemia, with potato salad and pickled vegetables.

A Mont Blanc with Piedmont’s marron glacé sabayon is served for dessert and to end the night on a sweet note, traditional Christmas cookies and coffee or tea are served as well.

Lunch is served from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm and dinner from 6:00 to 10:30 pm. Four course degustation menu is CZK 1,950.00 per person.

Children under 6 years old free of charge; 7-12 years old at 50 percent off the price.

New Year’s Eve
December 31, 2014
The New Year’s Eve celebration starts at 7:00 pm with a Champagne reception in the Hotel Lobby, and continues with an exclusive six course degustation menu in CottoCrudo Restaurant.

A live music session is planned after dinner to dance the night away and celebrate the start of 2015.

The menu includes yellow fin tuna tartar with osetra caviar and San Marzano tomato jelly; terrine of duck foie gras with Torcolato sweet wine, persimmon marmalade and homemade pain brioche; seared turbot fillet with onion jus and Mediterranean caponata; milk fed veal fillet with dauphinoise potatoes, Piedmont black truffles and barolo wine sauce; selection of Italian artisan cheeses, green chilli and fig marmalade; sfera al mascarpone with raspberries and Amedei Nut Brown Toscano chocolate truffles; and pralines with coffee or tea.

The six course menu including Champagne reception is priced at CZK 7,750.00 per person (wines excluded) or CZK 9,950.00 per person including paired wines. Kids under 6 years old dine free of charge; 7–12 years old at 50 percent off the price. Dress code is smart elegant.
