The luxurious Jumeirah Carlton Tower, is celebrating the launch of the new Cinderella film with a special afternoon tea at Chinoiserie.
Created by the hotel’s executive chef Simon Young, the menu offers delicious sweet and savory choices, including special fairytale-themed cakes, based on the Cinderella story.
The menu includes Mull of Kintyre cheddar and tomato marmalade on spinach bread, a smoked Finnan haddock and quail egg tart and roast Scottish beef with watercress and creamed horseradish, in tomato bread.
A twist on a quintessentially British tradition, the Cinderella afternoon tea includes surprises such as the white chocolate brownie and popping candy wand, as well as classic scones with jam and cream. For those with a sweet tooth, the selection of cakes and pastries on offer is sure to satisfy, including a Yuzu macaroon pumpkin carriage and a slipper expertly created from mango tuille.
Situated in Knightsbridge, Chinoiserie at Jumeirah Carlton Tower is the perfect setting for a spot of afternoon tea, with soothing music played by the resident harpist from 3 – 6pm daily. The Jasmine Room, an elegant private space within Chinoiserie, is an ideal place for a special day out, a family event or informal get-together with friends.
