Iran braces to a huge tourism surge in the second half of 2015

Alborz MountainsIran is prepared for the “new shock” in tourism and the Director of Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization said that the tourism industry will witness a growing trend as he expects a massive inflow of tourists to the country.

 

The tourist inflow will increase dramatically in the second half of 2015. Iran has already started working in the lines of improving its tourism prospects. It has improved its transportation fleet, developed its accommodation facilities and eased visa restrictions to boost the tourism industry.

 

Iran holds countless ancient tourism sites. The country holds Asia’s 4th and the Middle East’s 1st largest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is home to 17 historic sites inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

 

Iran has a range of hot mineral water showers in the northwest, offers hiking and skiing in the Alborz Mountains. Numerous attractions that include its splendid architecture, beaches in the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea and remarkable scenery all add to the splendor and attraction of this destination.

 

The country greets you with hospitality and warmth which is one of its strongest assets.
