American tourist crashes into 13 carsA panic stricken American tourist crashed into 13 vehicles and injured two people in Thailand when the police was forced to open fire on the car she was driving.

 

The woman was chased through Pattaya region for 30 minutes before the police shot at the three wheels of her car to stop her vehicle. The woman is 29 years of age and was driving through the wrong side of a busy road.

 

The woman was so panic stricken that the police had to break the front passenger window of the white Toyota Innova that she was driving to arrest her as she was refusing to open her car door when the car which was smashed from the front came to a halt.

 

The woman was escorted to safety by the police as the angry mob tried to attack her and hurled abuses at her.

 

The woman did not stop when she hit the first motor bike. She kept on driving in the wrong direction facing the traffic. When the police perused her she crashed into 12 other vehicles.

 

She has suffered injuries on her leg and was taken to the hospital by the police.

 

She had to pay a hefty fine and also pay for the damages caused by her. She had to pay for the medical expenses of the two injured people. Since in Thailand people drive on the left side it can be presumed that the woman got confused.
